The Association of Health and Well-Being of the Visually Impaired

We are an organisation promoting health and well-being for the visually impaired in Finland. We aim to improve the quality of life, physical activity, healthy eating habits and mental health among people with low vision. At the same time we want to prevent chronic diseases, musculoskeletal disorders and accidents caused by falls. Our website is mainly in Finnish, but we are happy to answer any enquiries in English, so please do not hesitate to contact us!

Minun näköinen elämä -toiminta siirtyy osaksi yhdistyksemme toimintaa.

Minun näköinen elämä -toiminta siirtyy 1.1.2026 alkaen osaksi Näkövammaisten terveys ja hyvinvointi ry:tä. Toiminnan pääpaino on vuoden 2026 aikana erityisesti puhelinrinkitoiminnassa.

Yhdistyksen syyskokous järjestetään pe 12.12.2025 klo 16.30 alkaen. Voit osallistua kokoukseen paikan päällä Iiris-keskuksessa tai Teams-etäyhteydellä.

Nahkakantinen muistikirja lepää ulkona puisen kaiteen päällä.

Kaksi henkilöä istuu puiston penkillä, kuva otettu istuinlaudan tasolta, penkin takaa. Toisella henkilöllä on valkoiset yllään valkoiset housut ja valkoiset kengät sekä toisella tumma asustus. Molemmilla on valkoinen keppi ja ne nojaavat penkkiä vasten. Taustalla vehreää luontoa.

Our organization is going through a fundamental reform. Our former name The Association of Visually Impaired Masseurs and Physiotherapists has now been changed to The Association of Health and Well-Being of the Visually Impaired.
